Worked within a small team to help develop and maintain a customer facing home loan and refinancing application. Prior to the new application, all customer applicants would have to dial in through phone and have a loan specialist handle inputting data through a loan servicing tool, Empower.

With the home loan and refinancing application nearly complete already, I helped in taking it down the last hurdle through adding additional fields and third party support with Finicity. In turn, customers were able to use this new online application to fill in their data before even talking to a loan specialist.

On top of that, I also had a hand in implementing support for HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) and HELoan (Home Equity Loan) prior to my departure.

Throughout the process I got to collaborate with various loan professionals and product experts to gain a clearer picture of how the industry worked and gain a better knowledge on questions and blockers I had along the way.
