SchoolTool is a customer facing student management system owned and operated by Mindex Technologies. SchoolTool is one of the leading student management systems used predominantly in New York State school districts.

While working at Mindex, I helped to maintain the application through triaging and/or fixing nearly 21 in-field bugs, as well as pre-planning and writing MLA for various MMFs that would be worked on in later sprints.

Alongside maintaining the legacy application I worked to help completely rebuild the application from the ground up with an entirely new user experience and code structure using Blazor WebAssembly. Using a microservice architecture the application is working to migrate the grading modules out into this new framework, with more to come!

Unit testing has therefore become paramount to maintaining the new architecture for the future, and as such I helped to write tests in BUnit and XUnit.
